IMPLANTOLOGY

A dental implant is an artificial root, made of titanium, which is put in place with the aim to take over the function of the lost natural tooth root. Any missing tooth may be replaced by an implant.

Dental implants can be used at almost any age, so long as the patient is a full grown adult. Implants are not appropriate unless the growth phase is complete. There is no upper age limit. Even with substantial bone loss, implantation is still possible in most cases, using enhanced bone augmentation techniques to create the necessary conditions for successful implantation.

Thanks to modern diagnostic and treatment methods, exceptionally difficult situations can be successfully treated. To provide you with optimal treatment, each implant treatment is preceded by a detailed and individual counselling session.
